Local Faerie circles and communities across Europe and beyond

Radical Faeries across Europe gather in local circles — informal, heart-led groups that meet regularly for connection, ceremony, and community.

Each circle has its own character and rhythm, shaped by the people and places that bring it to life. If you're looking for Faerie community near you, this directory is a good place to start.

Local Circles

France — Folleterre

Folleterre is the first and so far only permanent Radical Faerie Sanctuary in Europe, located in the Vosges Mountains of Eastern France. It is the beating heart of Radical Faerie culture in Europe, hosting visitors from across the continent and beyond.

The hearth is always kept warm for faeries at Folleterre, which hosts a series of gatherings and community weeks each year from the spring thaw to the first freeze of winter.

Spain — Hadas del Sol

Hadas del Sol is a growing community of Radical Faeries rooted in Iberia, focusing on co-creating experiences, gatherings, spirituality, and connection in and with nature. Gatherings have taken place at Alto das Fadas and in the Valley of Sensations near the mountain village of Yator.

Work on new initiatives and spaces is ongoing to build a permanent southern sanctuary in Iberia.

Austria

The Austrian Faeries' heart lies in Vienna, but they make a warm welcome to the Faeries of Central and Eastern Europe. They organize annual and semi-annual gatherings in Austria and neighboring countries, and host local circles in Vienna.

Scandinavia — Radical Viking Færies

The faerie family in Scandinavia is mostly active around Copenhagen but reaches across the vast region with færies in Stockholm, Oslo, Malmö, Helsingborg, Göteborg, Stavanger, and Aarhus. They hold summer gatherings in Sweden and Denmark, plus smaller local gatherettes throughout the year.

Heart circles are a central practice, and the Nordic færies are a close-knit tribe with gentleness and a sense of family at their core. Contact: radvikfae@folleterre.org
